National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was founded in 1890.
The NSDAR is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.
Its headquarters in Washington, D.C., are near the National Mall in the largest woman-owned building in the United States.
